Tool Rental Companies
If you are planning a project chances are that you may own some tools but rarely do you own everything you need. A good solution to this is to go to a tool equipment rental store. There is not a tool ever made that can not be rented. Finding your tool of choice isn't going to be the big problem but rather finding one of the many rental stores that will offer you the best price and a little time might be a bit trickier. Of course you want a friendly staff as happy staff is usually helpful staff. You likely want someone that knows what they are talking about too. If you walk in and ask about power augers you would like someone who can actually help you in making a decision.
Read over your rental contract and see what their insurance provisions are in the event that they break or are stolen. Is the store organized so that you can get in and out? Is the store located so it is easy to find? Can you Google it? The well known stores are well known for a reason, they are usually the best. Hiring is much cheaper than buying and often the only option for some. It's a great way to get your hands on heavy duty tools that would otherwise be unavailable to you.
